John and Joan invite you to Scotland where we will travel from Glasgow to the Scottish Highlands for two nights in Oban at the Royal Caledonian Hotel on the waterfront. Then ferry across the Firth of Lorne to the Isle of Mull visiting the old castle and then time for shopping at Tobernory. On to famous Stirling Castle dating back to the middle ages, site of William Wallace’s defeat of the English in 1297. Arrive in St Andrews on the North Sea and a chance to view the Old Course and the Royal and Ancient Golf Club clubhouse. Next day free to shop sightsee or maybe a round of golf. Travel a short distance to Edinburgh in time for an evening walking ghost tour. Two nights here will give you time to explore this renown city and its famous castle overlooking the town center and see what treasures you may discover on the Royal Mile .
