All Day Trips leave from the First Christian Church at 546 North 6th Street in Watseka, Illinois, unless otherwise stated or arranged in advance.

Chicago Cubs vs San Diego Padres Thursday, August 19,2010 — Sold Out

The Cubs take on the Padres in this last group trip for us to Wrigley Field. Depart Watseka First Christian Church at 9:00am for the 1:20pm game and return home right after the game. Cost for transportation and ticket is $57.00. Group escorted by Donna Whitlow.

Copper Canyon, Mexico talk with Dave Hensleigh Tuesday, September 14

Visit the Watseka Public Library for the opportunity to hear  Dave Hensleigh’s experiences escorting small groups of travelers through Mexico’s famous Copper Canyon. Located deep in the Sierra Madres this array of canyons is as deep as the Grand Canyon in places yet not frequently visited.  Find out how Dave takes his group by rail and other means to see this most interesting natural wonder.

Billy Elliot the Musical – Wednesday, September 15, 2010

Based on the smash hit film, Billy Elliot the Musical is an inspirational story of one boy’s dream to realize his ambitions against all odds. Billy pursues his passion for dance in secret to avoid disapproval from his struggling family, This is one of the most celebrated musical’s in history- winner of 10 Tony Awards including best Musical 2009. Music was composed by Elton John.

Depart Watseka First Christian Church at 11:00am and return at 8:00pm. Cost for ticket (lower balcony seating) and transportation is $89.00.

On Stage Alaska Show Tuesday, October 19, 2010

If you missed them before, you don’t want to miss it again. On Stage Alaska is back in Watseka for a fun filled event featuring live performances by very entertaining Alaskan personalities and an awesome Alaskan film provided by Holland America. Have your Alaskan questions answered and common myths busted by the people who know.

Cooking School at the Chopping Block- Chicago- Saturday, November 6, 2010

The Chopping Block at Mechandise Mart, Chicago’s largest recreational cooking school and gourmet retail store will be offering a demonstration cooking class with a professional chef. Observe the chef in action as he creates a variety of Italian dishes and sauces. Enjoy an included lunch during the demonstration.

Departing Watseka, First Christian Church at 8:30am and returning about 3:30pm. Cost is $139.00 for transportation, cooking demonstration and lunch.

A wonderful way to enjoy the lights and sights of Chicago’s Magnificent Mile during the holiday season. Shop, eat and explore on our yearly excursion to the big city. Depart Watseka First Christian Church at 7:30am and return about 7:30pm. Cost for transportation is $35.00.

We have tickets requested for this date and will update this posting with price when confirmed. We will depart Watseka First Christian Church at 1:00pm for the 4:00pm show. Dinner will be on your own after the show and return to Watseka about 7:30pm.
