International Quilt Festival in Chicago, Saturday, April 17, 2010

Join us as we travel to the Donald E Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Il to attend the “World’s Fair of Quilts”. You will not only have the opportunity to view quilts from around the world, but there will be over 100 classes offered throughout the day such as hand and machine piercing, quilt finishing, painting, printing, dyeing and scrap quilting.

Depart Watseka First Christian Church at 8:00am and return home about 6:00pm. Cost for transportation and entry to the show is $55.00.

Billy Elliot the Musical – Wednesday, June 16, 2010

Based on the smash hit film, Billy Elliot the Musical is an inspirational story of one boy’s dream to realize his ambitions against all odds. Billy pursues his passion for dance in secret to avoid disapproval from his struggling family, This is one of the most celebrated musical’s in history- winner of 10 Tony Awards including best Musical 2009. Music was composed by Elton John.

Depart Watseka First Christian Church at 11:00am and return at 8:00pm. Cost for ticket (lower balcony seating) and transportation is $89.00.

Shrek the Musical – Saturday, August 21, 2010

Based on an Oscar winning Dreamworks film, Shrek brings to life the ogre who started it all. “Featuring a score of 19 new songs, big laughs, great dancing and breathtaking scenery, this musical si fun for all”.

Depart Watseka First Christian Church at 11:00am and return about 8:00p. Cost for ticket ( lower balcony seating) and transportation is $115.00.

Shrek is playing at the Cadillac Theatre in Chicago.
